Pat established City Life Galway in August 2011

 

Background

Pat worked with Standard Life for 21 years in a variety of Business Development and Sales Management roles. Working with some of Ireland’s leading financial service practitioners, Pat amassed a wealth of experience in the key areas including retirement planning strategies, investment management and creative tax planning for private clients. His experience gives him a unique insight into the changing face of financial services and a keen awareness of the needs and wants of clients. Pat’s experience of the various business models offering financial services from Stockbroking to Banking to accountancy practices and general insurance brokers, has led him to believe that a small, private client focused, highly qualified financial planning business is the best way to answer the needs of today’s discerning clients.

Pat has an Honours B. Comm degree from UCD, is a Qualified Financial Advisor & is a Fellow of the LIA. He holds the internationally recognised designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM. This represents the highest professional practice in financial planning. In 2014 Pat was awarded a First Class Honours Master degree in Financial Services from U.C.D.

Interests

“I’m very keen on all sports, particularly rugby regularly attending Corinthians, Connacht and Ireland matches. I try keep in shape by donning the lycra and road biking around Connemara and occasionally France in my own version of the Tour de France. I’m currently president of Galway City Harriers our local athletics club”
