What is financial planning?

Financial Planning is a long term process of wisely managing your finances so that you can achieve your goals and ambitions, no matter how much money you have. Financial Planning is not about selling financial products or showing you the latest get rich quick schemes.  Our job is to develop, implement and oversee a financial plan that is right for you; a plan which is unambiguous, easy to understand and reflects your lifestyle and financial goals.

These plans may require product recommendations in the areas of pension, investment, savings, life cover, deposits etc. to ensure their realisation. However this is all done in a measured, calculated, coordinated and cost-efficient way to keep you on track to where you want to be.  Investing without a Financial Plan will nearly always result in an unsatisfactory outcome. The plan enables us to see how hard your assets need to work and therefore what (if any) risk you need to expose them to.

Risk Management

The loss of income of a main breadwinner in a household can cause immense financial stress on a family. We create peace of mind for our clients allowing you to continue doing the things you love, no matter what the future holds.

Wealth Accumulation

We help you maximise the return on your investments, taking into consideration your personal situation and tolerance for risk, to help you achieve the results you desire.

Tax Planning

Tax laws change constantly and it is difficult to figure out how they affect you personally. We work alongside your accountant to coordinate a plan which best suits your needs.

Retirement Planning

Whether you are just starting planning for your retirement or are already retired, we can help you achieve financial independence, no matter what your age or life circumstances are.

Estate Planning

We construct balanced portfolios tailored for each individual’s risk tolerance and financial situation. Specific needs such as income in retirement and long-term investment growth are considered. In some cases, clients arrive with existing positions that we integrate to created a balanced portfolio while also minimising capital gains.
